This is a new section of our website. "Hints, Tips 'n' Tricks" is designed to go beyond building your attendance to help you increase profits for your organization and your charities! New ideas will be added often, so check back regularly!
- Did you know that in Missouri, it is legal to sell pull tabs anywhere on the premises where you are licensed? If you have a club room, lounge or bar at the hall where you play bingo, you may sell tabs there on the day of your bingo, beginning two hours before the first ball is called, until the end of the last game of your session. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS!!! Even if you are selling lottery tickets in your bar, pull tabs offer higher payout percentages to your patrons, and higher profit to your organization!
- Have you tried a "Secret Good Neighbor" game? Separate double admission tickets and hand out BOTH sides to players. Specify certain games to be Secret Good Neighbor games IF there is only one winner. When someone wins, after their bingo is verified, ask them to read their ticket number. The other player with the corresponding number is the "Secret Good Neighbor" and wins that prize. This does not need to be a huge prize; a dauber gift set or tally holder make a great choice.
NOTE: In Missouri, the value of Good Neighbor prizes must be included in payout totals, which must remain at $3600 per session or less, not including progressives and pull tabs.
